Best is subjective. Depends on your riding style and the amount of distance you are talking. Best for me is two layers of ensolite backpackers sleeping mat covered with water buffalo hide. Best for other forum mebers is the gel seat, for others the stock seat.
Talk to a local automotive upholstery shop about what your intended use of the seat is. If they know bikes, they should steer you in the right direction.
